Peter firmly believes in letting clients take ownership and accountability for the outcomes of their financial plans. ‘My clients rely on me to inform and educate them. They also depend on my help, support and encouragement as they make major decisions that will allow them to take control of their circumstances, realise their goals and secure the financial future of themselves and their families. As I get to know my clients, I also share their dreams’.

In October 2014, Peter was privileged enough to receive the AFA National Excellence in Education Award. Established in 2008, this award recognises commitment and excellence in advice through participation in further education.

Mentoring young advisors is one of his personal passions, and over the past 12 months he has been an active mentor in the AFA Mentoring program. ‘I take every opportunity to speak to groups of university students considering a career in financial planning, about the value of advice and my philosophy of objectives centric financial planning’.

Outside of work, Peter is a Commissioned Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force Reserves. ‘One of my biggest passions is fighter jets, and I see any opportunity to go out there and play as a great stress reliever. I also enjoy spending time with my two boys, both of whom are keen AFL footballers’.
